The annual SBTF Race for Research raises funds for brain tumor research to develop cures. Thanks to sponsors, volunteers, and race participants, the 2008 race and fund raising raised
$300,000. SBTF is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improve
the quality of life for brain tumor patients and their loved ones. By offering information, education, and support services, SBTF aspires to instill them with hope, knowledge, and comfort. The
organization also raises funds for research at the Southeast's leading medical facilities to cure brain tumors.
