Home Forge Remodeling leads the way in home renovation because they are committed to time-definite remodeling. They provide complete home interior remodeling services with a design focus on higher-end kitchens and baths. Their innovative and proprietary methods—including the exclusive 3.5 week kitchen that reduces the average time of on-site construction to significantly below industry norms and ultimately improve client satisfaction.

Founder Bruce Meller considered the facts: 1) the typical kitchen-remodeling job takes 10-16 weeks; 2) the process is often inefficient due to poor coordination between contractors, suppliers and the customer; 3) consumers regularly complain of poor construction quality; 4) scheduling times are long, delays occur regularly and surprise costs in the end are common.

Bruce believed that proven concepts from other successful industries could be applied to home remodeling. His vision, to create a new business model for renovation that would reduce the current construction time to under four weeks, stay on budget, and better meet consumer desires lead to Home Forge Remodeling; founded in January, 2004.

Bruce Meller has an over twenty-year background in product development and complex project management, as well as sales, engineering and operations experience, for major corporations and with several startup companies. This work has been primarily with, or for, service industries. For the last ten years Bruce held a variety of marketing positions at UPS with responsibility for various aspects of product development, strategy, and new business development. He developed the business plan for UPS Capital Corp, and served as the first Senior Vice President of Marketing for the newly formed UPS subsidiary focused on providing financial products and services. Prior to this, Bruce managed a $1.3B product/service portfolio for the core shipping business. Before joining UPS, Bruce spent one year in Germany as a Robert Borch Fellow, gaining marketing experience at UPS-Deutschland and Lufthansa Air Cargo. This highly selective international program admits only 15 Americans per year. Prior to his fellowship, Bruce spent five years with the startup software company Xcellenet, developing sales practices and managing distributors. From 1988 to 1991, Bruce was an operations consultant for Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he worked on a variety of operational improvement projects for Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that Bruce worked for the Cleveland Clinic in new product design and development, including patenting a new medical product. Bruce holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School.
